We are thrilled at the progress of our new office, revamping Rudower Straße 67 in Berlin-Neukölln, where its infrastructure of the SBW Berlin gGmbH develops at great speed.
This location will not just be convenient for its transport connections to all Universities, but also enthralls because of the idyllic garden for tenants out back.
The refurbishing of the house includes the façade being environmentally-sound reconstructed to provide sufficient heat insulation.
The exterior paint was chosen with great care so it can incorporate the SBW Logo and complete the façade restauration, which will later decorate the street and highlight the meaning of our non-profitable organisation.
A modern one bedroom flat is already nicely done up for guests visiting our organisation.
Additionally, shared living spaces were created in a 120 m² duplex-apartment for our scholarship holders.
The housing unit is divided into sections, so that each scholarship occupant has a spacious bedroom on the upper floor to use at their own disposal.
A large kitchen and roomy recreation area are located on the lower floor, which will provide the perfect setting for our international Talent Program participants to connect, discuss and exchange ideas.
In addition we are creating a drop-in-center at our office space at this apartment building, so our scholarship holders have more intensive access to adequate support.
We are satisfied with this solution regarding the building restauration, which offers the necessary framework requirements for our scholarship holders and we are curious and excited to find out more about their ideas of their social projects.
