Impact Stories: Project work and studies
Social commitment and education go hand in hand at SBW Berlin’s scholarship program. Our scholarship recipients are socially engaged from the outset and conceptualize and develop new or work on existing social projects that have a positive impact on the lives of others or even change them.
From a project idea to its development and implementation, our scholarship recipients are highly motivated and determined to help other people in need. The scholarship recipients’ projects have been quite different from each other so far and have focused on music therapy, theater, the environment, a peace project, and several mentoring programs.
In addition to the project work, our scholarship recipients attend a university or university of applied sciences in Berlin or Potsdam and show their ambition by preparing presentations, talks and seminar papers in their courses. They have achieved considerable success each semester and ultimately have successfully completed their studies within the standard period of study.
