First SBW Berlin alumni and scholarship holders meeting
A remarkable Zoom meeting took place last week,
where SBW Berlin graduates and SBW Berlin scholarship holders came together to talk about their projects.
Many of the scholarship holders have successfully transferred their projects to their home countries and experienced joy and satisfaction in the process.
Despite the challenges, they remain motivated to drive forward social projects, whether in Germany or in their home countries.
They emphasize the importance of adapting and moving on in order to find joy and fulfillment.
The scholarship holders were selected by PowerSouth, an organization specializing in the promotion of SDG5
(gender equality and the empowerment of women and girls),
to stand firm in difficult situations and adapt their projects instead of giving up.
PowerSouth praised the scholarship holders as “do’ers” and thought it was great to see,
how motivated the scholarship holders are and how committed young people are to social projects.
The positive feedback on this event encourages us to continue offering such opportunities for active exchange in the future.
