Be a role model and help contain the spread of the coronavirus!
In challenging times like these, mutual consideration and responsibility are more important than ever. Even though everyday life has been turned upside down for many people, even small actions can make a big difference – for your health and that of others.
That’s why we’ve put together a few simple but effective tips for you on how you can protect yourself and others:
💛 Support older and vulnerable people
Elderly or health-impaired neighbors are particularly at risk. Offer to do their shopping, pick up medication, or run errands for them. A small act of kindness can save lives.
🚫 Limit personal contact
Avoid unnecessary face-to-face meetings wherever possible. Even if it’s difficult: the fewer contacts we have, the slower the virus spreads.
🏡 Work from home if possible
Talk to your employer about the option of working from home. Many tasks can now be done digitally – protecting you, your colleagues, and your family.
↔️ Keep your distance
If you need to leave the house, make sure to keep a distance of at least 2 meters (6 feet) from others – whether you’re out walking, shopping, or in a stairwell.
🤧 Don’t forget hygiene
Cough or sneeze into your elbow, not your hands.
Avoid touching your face – especially your mouth, nose, and eyes.
Wash your hands thoroughly for at least 30 seconds with soap and warm water – before leaving your home and right after coming back.
